STUART A. ROSENTHAL, Of Counsel

Stuart A. Rosenthal STUART A. ROSENTHAL is Vice President, Legal Affairs and Operations for the Greater New York Automobile Dealers Association, in Whitestone, NY (1995 to present). Prior to joining the Association in 1995, Rosenthal was an Assistant Attorney General in the New York State Attorney General’s Office (1989 - 1995). Prior to that appointment, he was Director of Adjudication, Consumer Advocate, and Senior Attorney for the New York City Department of Consumer Affairs (1979 - 1989).

Mr. Rosenthal was a member of New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani’s Task Force on Automobile Insurance (1996 -1997). He has also served twice as President and was a two-term Trustee on the Board of the Pocantico Hills Central School District and was a Deputy Town Supervisor for the Town of Greenburgh (Westchester, NY). In addition, he was the Vice Chairman of the National Conference on Weights and Measures, an office of the U.S. Department of Commerce, National Institute on Standards and Technology.

Mr. Rosenthal is a graduate of Hofstra University School of Law (J.D., 1978). He is a Member of the Bar of the State of New York, a Member of the Federal Bar, Southern District of New York, and a Member of the Bar of the Supreme Court of the United States.
